Objectives • To clarify and raise awareness of how Asian development partners operate: their objectives, principles, motivation and funding levels. • To contribute Asian development partner views to the post-Busan international dialogue on aid effectiveness and architecture. • To promote mutual interest, learning, understanding and opportunities for collaboration between and amongst Asian development partners, traditional donors and recipient countries. • To make specific policy contributions and recommendation from Asian partners on the pro-poor growth agenda.

Results for 2012 • Policy relevant material produced to respond to the outcomes of HLF4. • Contributions towards a second AADC publication • Recommendations and learning from Asian development partners on strategies for pro-poor growth and development cooperation • Increased understanding amongst Asian development partners about their priorities, modalities, and programs. • Establishment of a neutral dialogue platform for continued discussions on aid and development effectiveness amongst Asian partners.
