Collaborative RFP Creation for Screening Interventions in Public Health
Over several years, we built relationships and established a foundational understanding of our goals. With funding available, we aimed to implement screening interventions through a collaborative process. Our approach involved navigating the complexities of merging science with practice, as we crafted Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for colon and prostate screening. Supported by a review committee, we offered technical assistance and a robust evaluation plan, ensuring continuous progress monitoring and assessments throughout the grant process. Our journey began with RFP distribution in September 2005, and evaluations will continue into the future.
