Work on the SystemC 2.1 Language Reference Manual (LRM) commenced in early January, with significant progress achieved. Contracts are established with Doulos and Sofie for technical editing. An itemized list of ongoing work for the 2.1 LRM is in place. Due to delays in OSCI work, the anticipated completion date is now late March to early April, followed by an official handover to IEEE by mid-April. There are active technical discussions occurring on the OSCI LRM email reflector, open to all interested participants by contacting Stuart Swan at stuart@cadence.com.

SystemC LRM Status • Work started on the 2.1 LRM in early January, and excellent progress is now being made. Contracts are in place with Doulos and Sofie (tech editor). • We have an itemized list of items that we are working on for the 2.1 LRM. • Since the 2.1 work in OSCI started later than expected, the expected completion date is probably now around late March early April. The official handover to IEEE will happen soon thereafter (mid April). • We have been in contact with the IEEE editors and have a good handle on desired style guidelines, formats, etc. • There is a lot of ongoing technical discussion occurring right now on the OSCI LRM email reflector. Anyone can join in right now by contacting Stuart Swan stuart@cadence.com
