Course Aim: To enable students to: 1- Achieve a basic understanding of what occurs inside a modern petroleum refinery. 2- Learn how the most common refinery fuels processes accomplish the refining of crude oils into the fuels specification products that the markets demand. Intended Learning outcomes:

  5. b- Intellectual skills b2-I Examine the petroleum crude. b2-ii Determine the factors that affect the quality of petroleum products. b3 Determine the suitable treatment method for Lubricating oil. b4-i Apply the operation systems of distillation towers. b4-ii Determine the factors affecting upgrading of petroleum crude. b4-iii Classify different processes used in petroleum treatment. c1. c2. c3. .
