This study investigates the mechanisms of T cell receptor (TCR) recombination and deletion in the alpha (TCR-alpha) and delta (TCR-delta) loci. We detail the role of variable (V), diversity (D), and joining (J) gene segments involved in TCR assembly, specifically focusing on deletions in the delta locus and recombination in the alpha locus. Utilizing PCR and TREC analysis, we explore the dynamics of gene rearrangements and their implications for T cell development and function.
