Graduate Student Mathematical Modeling Camp • The GSMM Camp is an informal 4-day problem-solving workshop designed for graduate students in applied math. • Learned from SIAM News • Applied through GSSM webpage two-three months in advance. • Provided housing, airfare and meal reimbursement.
Mathematical Problems in Industry • The MPI Workshop is a 5-day interaction on the problems of interest to science and industry. • Provided housing, airfare and meal reimbursement. • Need to register separately.
Random Matrix Theory • Two-week program at MSRI, UC Berkeley. • Eligibility: Graduate students from MSRI Academic Sponsoring Institutions or from Department of Mathematics at U.S. Universities. • Apply to Prof. Smolinsky. • Reimbursement: MSRI covers the travel and local expenses of all the students up to $550.
