  1. The Bay An Experience In Our Backyard

  2. The Project • Throughout our childhood we've heard all about the Bay and how it's unique. • We wanted to experience it for ourselves and help the bay • Through some research we learned about John Smith, the first man to navigate and chart out the Bay back in 1606. • We then set out onto the bay to both experience its beauty and help clean it by cleaning up trash

  3. The John Smith Trail

  4. A Section of his Trails

  5. Day 1 - Preparation • Making sure our permits were up to date • Charting out our courses • Making sure our safety equipment hadn't expired

  6. Day 2 - The Magothy River • Many documents say John Smith spent the night in the Magothy River behind Dobbins Island • We spent our first day boating around the Magothy and later watching a Regatta. We then went to the shores and helped clean up trash

  7. Fuzz put up your pictures here

  8. And make more slides for each picture

  9. Day 3 - The Bay/The Severn • We spent day 3 on the Bay and in the Severn River. • We also spent a few hours in Annapolis, one of the Sailing Capitals of the world. • We helped clean trash both on the water and on the coast lines
