  2. Introduction The rainforest is very important because it has medicine and it gives us some foods like oranges, vanilla, and chocolate. I like the rainforest. There are four layers in the rainforest. They can be found in Asia, South America, Central America, Africa and the Pacific Islands.

  3. Forest Floor and Understory The forest floor is filled with all types of animals. The understory has a lot of animals such as birds and jaguars.

  4. Canopy and Emergent Layer The canopy is home of birds and much more. The emergent layer is the highest point in the rainforest.

  5. Appearance Iguanas are pretty big animals. They are usually green. They also have dark colored bands on their bodies. Some of them even have pretty pattered skin.

  6. Products and Supplies We get lots of products from the rainforest like wood, coconuts, and my favorite ones, cocoa and vanilla also oranges.

  7. Habitat Iguanas mostly live in South West USA, Mexico, Central America, The West Indies and South America. They also live in the canopy.

  8. Diet Iguanas mostly eat fruits, vegetables, leaves, insects, and rodents.

  9. Predators and Prey Iguanas are endangered. They are on the endangered list of animals. They like to prey on rodents. Their predators are wild dogs and humans.

  10. Adaptations These are the things they need to survive. food, camouflage, burrows, and very, very sharp teeth.

  11. Interesting Facts Iguanas are diurnal. They live in underground burrows. They lay out in the sun because they are cold blooded. They have cool camouflage. They live in the canopy.
