Can’t make it to New Orleans this year? Don’t know where to celebrate Fat Tuesday thousands of miles from the Big Easy? No worries! Sign of the Whale has got you covered. This year, come out to M Street on Tuesday February 9th for a day full of specials on Heineken Drafts, Captain Morgan Hurricanes and Fireball for only 5 dollars. PLUS, you won’t want to miss the beat the clock specials from 5 to 8 pm. 5 to 6 we have $4 deals on beer and mixed drinks, 6 to 7 $5 drinks, and 7 to 8 $6 drinks. This is the closest you’ll get to a New­Orleans style Mardi Gras party at your favorite bar and trust me, it will be a night to remember. We’re also pumped for the big game this Sunday! Hopefully you had time to place your order for our special catering menu. With a choice of 20 or 40 wings and a variety of dips, we are prepping to put everything together and to see you when you pick it up on Sunday. The days of worrying about pigs in a blanket and wings the night before are over. We have hot hand crafted appetizers on the day of the game with no need for cooking! To keep you in the loop, last week we hosted games watches and joined University of Louisville to watch the game on Wednesday and we are excited to be hosting more coming up this week. With our private 2nd floor loft packed with college students and fans sporting red, black, and gold, cheers of “C­A­R­D­S” rang throughout the bar. If you want to have a viewing   experiences   as   fun   as   theirs,   book   your   game   watch   by   contacting   Ali atalis@signofthewhaledc.com. On Thursday, we had a great lunch featuring our new daily specials, followed by our hype happy hour DC. If you’d like to find out what these new specials are, give us a call at 202­ 785­1110. We’re always happy to hear from you! Also, as you may know, at Sign of the Whale we boast one of DC’s best happy hours. Monday through Friday every week, we have happy hour from 4 to 7 pm, featuring half off drinks and a discounted appetizer menu! Also, we are happy to announce that our recently hosted fundraiser for the Travis Roy Foundation went super well! 100% of all donations collected at the door went to the foundation, dedicated to enhancing the life of spinal cord injury victims and families. If you would like to have a special experience hosting your organization’s fundraiser at Sign, please contact Ali, again at alis@signofthewhaledc.com.
