The CAB took proactive steps to address uncertainty in budget and leadership by conducting a member survey to determine focus areas for the upcoming year. Key topics discussed included the value of CAB participation, priority benefits, and management issues. Survey results indicated a strong perceived value of the CAB among members, with a focus on improving communication and collaboration. The meeting aimed to strategize on industry standards, DIS direction, and potential contributions from CAB members, leading to the establishment of standing issues and an annual planning approach.
