  5. Giving the date • Formula: • Number + “de” + month • Example: • 12 de agosto • The Year is: “dos mil catorce”

  6. Grammar Notes • No capitals for months, days of the week and seasons of the year • To make the days plural, you change the word “el” to “los”. • Example: On mondays… Los lunes…

  7. Assignment • Create your birthday month! • 1. Month in Spanish at the top(5 points-Spelling and grammar) • 2. Days of the week in Spanish(7 points-spelling and order) • 3. Numbers in Spanish for the entire month (10 points-5 for spelling and 5 for correct order) • 4.
