KHULA/MAFISA Fund • Khula/Mafisa Partnership Agreement • Production inputs • Target: Black farmers • 100k – R300k per PDI • Up to R100k: Fund 90%: Institutions(10%) • R101k-R200k: Fund 80%: Institutions(20%) • R201k-R300k: Fund 70%: Institutions(30%) • Interest rate to end-user ≤ Prime • 1% Indemnity Fee to Institutions 11
Qualifying Criteria • Off-take agreement for farmers produce • Insurance for all crops • Interest rate: not more than Prime • Assistance package to include Mechanisation for: • Soil preparation • Planting • Weed eradication • Chemical application • Spraying • Harvesting • Project management and farmer mentorship. 12
