Certificate in Nonprofit Management 100 contact hours 5 CEUs in core topic areas 5 CEUs in electives 60% pursuing certificate Requirements • Core topic areas: • Boards, ED, and Governance • Human Resources • Fund Development and Communication • Financial Management • Organization Planning and Evaluation

  6. Program Format • 20 classes per year • One and two-day format • 0.5 CEU and 1.0 CEU • $60 and $85 • 8:30 to 3:30 • On-line courses (2009) • Available 24/7 • Asynchronous • Tuition Varies

The Academy offers courses designed to equip nonprofit staff, board members and volunteers with new skills and knowledge to increase their effectiveness and help them better serve our region’s needs. • utilize agency resources as efficiently as possible • maximize staff and volunteer productivity • maintain a positive public image • move beyond isolated or limited success • yield cost-effective, mission-driven results • maintain transparency and accountability
