So if you are new and you are not really familiar with how pipes and drapes work, then here is a simple guide to your Pipe and Drape configuration. It is quite easy; let’s find out – Learn the parts first – Before you start configuring, you need to learn the parts of the pipe and drapes.   4. Make a Linear Backdrop – In case if you have a wall or a half wall you need to cover, you can make a linear or in-line backdrop. The first thing you need to do is measure the height and the width of the area you want to cover and then you need to use 2 uprights, 2 bases, 1 drape support rod and the drape. The drape fabric will depend on your own choice and the amount of drape will depend on the fabric. You Can Make a Booth – Making a booth is easy too. A lot of people prefer making booths as they are easy and they can be used for many purposes like a photo booth, changing station or a voting booth. Make a T-Configuration – Making a T-configuration is another thing you can do with your Pipe and Drapes. All you have to do is use one of the upright on the back portion and then you need to hook a different drape supporting rod in the front slot.
