The mail and link – This is the first thing that you receives that starts the process • Congratulations on your selection as a Rotary exchange student by the Rotarians of District 5100, and welcome to the beginning of a unique, life-changing journey.             • Please register with us by using the following link, which has been created uniquely for you:       • The link has ben removed from this slide but in should be in the email sent to you.   • This registration process will provide District 5100 with the necessary information to contact you and your parents. You can start and stop while completing this application. You will need to know you log in and password to come back to the application after you start. Do not start a new application after you have started the process. I hope you can make it to the application seminar on Saturday, October 8, 2016.        • I know you are excited to learn which country will host you next year, and anxious to get started on the process. We share your excitement, and look forward to meeting you soon.                 • It is very important that you continue to check your e-mail regularly, as vital messages and notifications will be sent to the e-mail address we have on file for you. If you change your e-mail address, let us know right away. And if you do not already have your own e-mail address (for example, if this message is going to a parent's e-mail), then it is required that you obtain one of your own immediately.   31. Host Family Referral form – Clubs need this help – Upload and Give a copy to your sponsor club.

  32. School Reference Link – Get person’s information first – Name, Phone Number, Email Address and School. You can have more than one reference, just do this process again.

  33. Here is the first update to all Outbound Candidates about the application process. Once you submit the first part of the application, you will receive an email with two links, one to the required forms and the other to the school reference process. If you need the forms before you have the first part done because you have a doctor or dentist appointment. Let me know and I can send you the forms by email. PLEASE complete two originals of each of the required fillable forms. They are the OB Medical Report, the OB Dental Report, the OB Signed Authorization and the OB Club Endorsement. This is a change for those few who have already received the email with the link to the forms. You can just email any of the form to your doctor, dentist, and club to have them complete the information you do not have after you have completed your section. Once everything has been entered, print two forms and sign both of the forms so you have two originals. Once you have a completed document, PLEASE scan the document to a PDF format, NOT a JPEG. Upload the PDF document to the system through your link in the email. Keep all originals in a paper file as you will need them later when you apply for your visa.

  34. If you have uploaded any of the documents as a JPEG, I will probably reject the document because of the format. I will send an email telling you what you need to do to have me accept your documents as we go if they are rejected. You can create a multiple page document if need to and upload it as a single document. This will need to be done with the OB Medical Report since it is two pages to begin with. You would want to add additional pages as needed, such as your immunization certification report as a separate print out from your doctor. Do NOT upload multiple individual pages to the same link. If you have any questions about this process, it might be easier to call me and chat than send emails back and forth. Hope this helps those who are still working on this part.   35. Lastly: Happy Thanksgiving!!!! Next year the country you are in will probably not celebrate this holiday.
