  2. Galileo • Galileo thought the earth was in the center of the universe. • Galileo contributed to finding the sun spots. • Galileo 1610 he discovered other planets like Venus, Saturn and Jupiter. • He also discovered that the moon reflects light.

  3. Ptolemy • Ptolemy was the best at making authorities tables. • Ptolemy’s theory was that the earth was centered in the universe. • Ptolemy astronomical treatise was nown as Almagest.

  4. Copernicus • Copernicus model replaced Ptolemy's model equal circles but more epicycles. • He found that the Ptolemy's and Galileo theory was wrong and the earth was not in the center of the earth. • Copernicus found that the planets orbit around the sun. • Copernicus system was called the Heliocentric system.

  5. Kepler • Kepler solved that the sun is in the center with a math equation. • Kepler spent a year looking at mars through a telescope. • Kepler believed that god placed the planets in those spots but later in his research he found out he was wrong.
