  5. MAIN AIM • The main aim of this Project is to develop competency of teachers and administrators towards students having family issues.

  6. ConcreteObjectives • To create awareness about the problems of the students who are separated from their families. • To increase competency of secondary school administrators and teachers concerning the problems of secondary school students between the age of 11-14 regarding living separately from their families. • To increase the ability of psychological counsellors who work at secondary schools in solving the problems of secondary school students.

  7. ConcreteObjectives • To create a common strategy for solving the students’ problem of living apart from their families. • To exchange the good practices of the other region concerning how to solve the students’ problem of living apart from their families. • To help students to make them familiar with other family members' feelings as much as their own feelings.

  8. ConcreteObjectives • To prevent students from having negative attitudes towards separation. • To raise awareness towards new life conditions after separation. • To ensure students to learn sharing both negative and positive feelings and ideas about separation. • To help students to rehandle and adapt to conditions causing them to feel upset.

  9. ConcreteObjectives • To present the different problems occurred by the results of separation in partner regions which have different cultures. • To disseminate the best applications which appear as a result of the project in local, national and international levels. • To provide European dimension for schools by encouraging them for cross border cooperation.

  10. ConcreteObjectives • To build international cooperation between the institutions responsible for education. • To enhance disadvantaged adolescents’, at the age of 11-14, more academic success.

  11. Expected Main Results: • Students will develop useful skills about solving their problems in their life. • Disadvantaged adolescents will be more successful in their academic life. • The teachers who participated in the project will get skills about how to help the students in solving their problems in the future. • The project results and best practices will be translated into English.

  12. Expected Main Results: • A book about the results of the partnership Project will be published in Turkish, English and Romanian • Project web site will be created • Booklets and leaflets will be published • Pre and post tests will be applied to the teachers and reported. • Cooperation among the participant organizations
