One of 24 subject centres under HE Academy • HE Academy: supported by UK Higher Education funding bodies, institutional subscriptions, grants and contracts • Strategic Plan • Authoritative and independent voice on student learning policies • Support institutions in improving the student learning experience • Lead, support and inform the professional development and recognition of staff in higher education • Promote good practice the student learning experience • Lead the development of research and evaluation to improve the quality of student learning

The Psychology Network is one subject centre Based in Psychology Department at University of York Strategic Plan Monitor policy development and keep departments informed about changes that impact teaching and learning of psychology Inform staff about teaching innovations, suggest good practice and provide resources Encourage research into teaching practice and the learning experience and provide opportunities for publication and presentation Build communities of practice and build networks to support the sharing of practice and stimulate developments in academic practice
