  1. How to Market Your Dental Practice During the Pandemic

  2. Dental Practice During the Pandemic • You're probably frustrated and stressed right now. Your dental office is closed and you aren't sure when you can get back to work. • It's hard to give your patients an exact date when you can resume your dental services, but that doesn't mean you should stop working altogether.  • You can continue to market your dental practice even when you and your staff are at home. You can keep your new patients and gather new ones even during the pandemic.

  3. Here are Ideas To Help You Get Started:

  4. Train Team Members • You can use this time to boost your customer service performance. People at the frontline hold an important job and that is to encourage new and existing patient bookings. • How your receptionists talk to prospective and existing patients on the phone can impact the latter's decision on whether or not to schedule an appointment with you. • Use this time to orient everyone on how patient calls should be handled and reduce wait times.

  5. Connect With Your Patients • Just because your dental office is closed does not mean you can't hear from or reach out to your patients. • The more you make your presence felt, not as a business but as a normal person, the more you will be on their mind once the coronavirus has passed. • Use email and your social media channels to send positive and encouraging messages. Send a thoughtful, personal message that shows you're in the same place as everyone, staying at home and praying for this difficult time to pass soon.

  6. Send Updates • In case you're still providing emergency dental services, you can also use your social media channels or your email list to update everyone about your practice hours. • Let them know what you can and cannot do. Offer advice so they can help themselves feel better in case the emergency occurs outside your practice hours. • Let your patients know how your dental practice is taking steps to keep everyone safe and healthy.

  7. Schedule Your Posts • Creating a detailed schedule makes content creation more manageable. You also avoid sending out too many or too few messages. • Talk to your team members about setting a schedule for posts. For example, you can update your social media channels every other day, and send out emails once a week. • Let your patients know you're still around and are thinking of them.

  8. Review Your Website Content • Now is the perfect time to review your marketing channels. Is your website updated? Are your contact details complete? Are you still publishing blog posts? • Put yourself in the shoes of a regular consumer. If you're a new patient looking for a dentist, will you be drawn to your website content? Will you feel positive toward your dental practice? • Do you find your website authoritative and trustworthy? If you don't find your content interesting, attractive, and helpful, then you need to revamp it.
