TRADITIONAL EDUCATION IN MEXICO: • Not linked to production sector • Little flexible • Segmented (lack of linkages among institutions) • Based on education services provision • High number of study plans and programs • More importance to theory than to practice • High drop-outs and not-aproving indexes • Based on linear schemes • Little means to access • Centered on teaching rather than learning • Addressed to processes more than to results.
