Does the style of the paper airplane effect how far the paper airplane will fly? Topic
Purpose The reason we are doing this project is to see how far the 3 different types of styles of paper airplanes will go the farthest when thrown in the air. Hypothesis We think that the winged bat will go farther because it has a larger wing span.
Materials List • 4 pieces of construction paper. • measuring tape. • 3 pieces of notebook paper. • 1Glue Stick • 1 Pencil • 1 Measuring 1Tape
Procedures • Step 1:Get 4 pieces of construction paper. • Step 2: Make Delta Force out of 1 piece of construction paper. • Step 3: Make Jet out of 1 piece of construction paper. • Make winged bat out of 2 pieces of construction paper.
Procedures • Step 5: Get 1 glue stick and glue the Delta Force, jet, and the winged bat. • Step 6: Fly the Delta Force and record the measure. • Step 7: Fly the Jet and record the measure. • Step 8: Fly the winged bat and record the measure.
Procedures • Step 9: Repeat step 6,7, and 8 two more times.
Conclusion our conclusion wasn’t right because we thought the winged bat Would go farthest because it has a big wing span but the jet went The farthest with 42 ft. The reason why the jet went farther because is light then the Delta Force and the Winged Bat. If we were to do this Experiment again, we would keep the Jet and make the dart and the Glider So we can see which one goes farthest out of those 3 paper airplanes.
