  1. ACTION PLANMs MEHTAB GULDA IQRA MODEL SCHOOL INTEL TEACH PROGRAM

  2. LONG TERM GOALS • Adopt 21st century teaching approaches to enhance questioning and encouraging skills • Students must have information about media technology • Ability to frame, analyze and solve problems • Monitoring one’s own understanding and learning needs

  3. SHORT TERM GOALS • Develop critical thinking by changing questions • Encourage to work with collaboration and interaction to get the best answers and results • To understand how to approach a word problems correctly

  4. INSTRUCTIONAL STRATEGIES AND TASK • Students use RUN strategy for every word problem • Clue words will help the students what to do in this problem add or subtract • I will allow students to discuss that how to best solve mathematical problems

  5. SOLUTIONS TO ANTICIPATED CHALLENGES CHALLENGES SOLUTION I will share the course manual and my notes from this course with my principal I will use my new word processing skills to inform parents of my new methods I will stay after school to use a computer in the school’s computer lab I will randomly group students to encourage collaboration with all class members • The principle may not agree with my new approaches • Parents may not understand my method • I do not own a computer • There may be some students who do not want to work together
