  5. Setting up a new project in cat checkpoint Setting up a new project in CAT Checkpoint is quick. When setting up a job other than inviting participants you need to set up location and area structures. Using a commercial apartment building as an example the structure would be something like: Basement - Build Type Basement Level (parking, service rooms etc) Ground - Build Type Apartment Common Areas (Reception, Lift Lobby, etc) Level 1, 2, 3 etc - Build Type Apartment (rooms, common areas, service areas etc) Envelope - Build Type Exterior (façade, roof, balconies, entry etc) Site Works - Build Type Site Works (parking, recreational, landscaping etc) To each location relevant area groups are assigned so the right lists populate for that area (but you can still add on the fly).  After locations are finalised add the actual areas for each location ie: Apartment A,B,C etc. Depending on the project size and complexity this is anywhere between 10 and 30 minutes work. …
