4. Today talk about two Dental insurance options Delta Dental PPO Value Plan MIT Grad Dental Plan Administered by MIT (ODGE) Delta Dental DeltaCare (HMO) Administered by 3rd party company University Health Plans Note – These are not your only options
5. Delta Dental PPO Value Plan MIT Grad Dental Plan – administered by ODGE Enrollment Deadline– Sept 15th Covers from Oct 1st 2012 to Sept 30th 2013 Charge as lump sum in beginning of year No cancellations MIT students and families only

Delta Dental PPO Value Plan - Coverage In network 100% coverage of Diagnostic and Preventative Services (i.e. Regular Exams, Teeth Cleanings, X-rays) Discounts on restorative services (fillings, oral surgery) and other dental work Out of Network Diagnostic and Preventative services only are covered up to 80%
7. Delta Dental PPO Value Plan - Network Large network size Hundreds of dentists in a 5mi radius of campus MIT Dental is NOT included
8. Delta Dental PPO Value Plan - Cost Individual - $251.52 annually ($20.96/month) Family - $636.00 annually ($53.00/month) Paid as lump sum due Oct 2012 Deadline Sept 15th. Enrollment is open now graddental.mit.edu

10. Delta Dental DeltaCare Plan – key differences More expensive (ex +$60 for individual plan) and smaller network (15 providers near campus) Has greater coverage for major dental work cavities, root canals, oral surgery Up to ~40%-70% coverage of costs Offers Individual + 1 option

Delta Dental DeltaCare Plan Cost & Enrollement Student Only - $311.00 annually ($25.92/month) Student + 1 dependent - $582.00 annually ($48.50/month) Student + 2 or more depend. - $875.00 annually ($72.92 /month) Next Deadline – Sept 15th!
