  2. General Format • Center the words “Works Cited” at the top of the page. • 12 pt. Times New Roman, 1” margins, double spaced • Continue page numbering (last name + page number) • Entries alphabetized by author’s last name • When there’s no author, alphabetize by title (not including a/an/the) • When entries are more than one line, use HANGING INDENTS. • When giving a URL, break it at a / • Missing information: No date  n.d. No publisher  n.p. • Dates always given as: Day Mon. Year  28 Mar. 2012
