1. Get Information About Different types of flanges A flange is a disc, collar, or ring attached to a pipe that connects to other parts of the pipe (valves, other pipes...) or blocks part of the pipe. Flange is usually welded or bolted to the end of the pipe and bolted together. A seal is inserted between the two flanges to ensure a good seal. Some organizations publish specifications that provide information related to dimensions (ANSI, ISO, etc.). The specifications related to pressure that should be considered depending on temperature. Different types of flange Full flange Solid flanges are used to seal the ends of alloy steel pipe fittings or pressure tank systems. It is also used to test the pressure of gases and liquids in pipes and tanks. These flanges also permit simple access to the inside of the pipe when attacks within the pipe are required. Cover flange Overlap flanges slide over tubes and are often used in flanged tubes. The flange is welded to the tube and the flange is free to rotate. The advantage is that the nut alignment is fine. These a350 lf2 flanges are often used in applications that require frequent disassembly. It is also used when the tube is made of hard or exotic material. Generally, the flange is made of steel.

2. Flange to place and weld Mounting and welding flanges are typically used in small pipes and high pressure environments. These a694 f60 flanges are fixed by inserting the tube into the flange and welding the top of the flange to the outside. This keeps the inside of the tube smooth and improves fluid and gas circulation. Different types of flange seal surface Elevated joint surface Articulated booster seats are the most common flanges used in processing plants and are easy to identify. The name comes across the fact that the contact surface is higher than the surface on which the nut is located. Many different seals are available with this type of flange. The advantage of this flange is that it can concentrate the high pressure on a small contact surface. This increasing the ability of the carbon steel forged fittings to retain fluid. Flat seal surface The flange of the flat ceiling scope has a contact surface in the same plane as the surface on which the nut is placed. These flanges are often used when making flanges in casting. Flat seal face flanges cannot be combined with raised face seal flanges. RTJ type seal When you tighten the nut, the metal seal is compressed between the two flanges and deforms, creating metal-to-metal contact. RTJ type flanges can have raised surfaces with machined grooves. But this face plays no role in the overall seal. Tongue and groove flange The tongue and groove flanges have faces that must match. One of the flanges has a groove machined into the surface of the gasket and the other has a tongue that fits into this groove. They are located on the pump cap and valve cap. The benefit also lies in the fact that these carbon steel flanges automatically align and form a reservoir of adhesive medium. In addition, the chamfered joint keeps the load shaft in line with the joint. Business :- Skyland Metal and Alloys Inc Address :- Mumbai ,India Visit Us :- https://www.skylandmetal.in/
