Lott Carey Overview • Founded in 1897 as the Lott Carey Baptist Foreign Mission Convention • “Lott Carey” diverse set of peoples/partnerships • A supporting agency – not a sending missions agency (sending career missionaries) • Our Mission: “To help churches extend their Christian witness to the ends of the earth”

Lott Carey Overview • Supporting Indigenous projects in more than 10 countries in the areas of: • Evangelism • Health • Education • Theology $100,000 in financial support sent monthly to the mission field In North America we host two annual meetings • Youth Seminar (June) • Annual Session (August) • For Local Churches • Technical Assistance • Missions Workshops • Mission Mobilization • Group or Church-based

MISSIONTEAMS ARE SENT TO: 1) Incarnational Representing Christ’s presence in community 2) Indigenous Relating appropriately to the cultural context of the country visited 3) Intentional Coming along aside country partners to aid them in practice – not imposing our preferences Every International Context is Unique!!!!

  14. Important passport information 1. If your passport will expire in 2014 – PLEASE RENEW IT “BEFORE” YOU MAKE APPLICATION FOR THIS MISSION ASSIGNMENT 2. Please ensure your Passport has “MULTIPLE BLANK” pages. If you Passport does not have sufficient blank pages, you will not be allowed to travel.
