Company News • 22-nanometer node is laying the groundwork for the “Ivy Bridge” microprocessors that will ship in products next spring. • First processors based on Intel’s 3-D technology called “Tri-Gate.” • “Ultrabook” • Thinner and lighter than traditional notebooks • Will show up in stores for the first time this quarter, with about 11 different models shipping. • Next year will see 65 different models, from numerous PC vendors. • “Ultrabook” is viewed as “a three-year phased approach”
