  1. From lunch to loo! BY TAMEKA And Sharee

  2. Eating the apple • Firstly the food goes in the mouth; it is chewed in to little pieces

  3. Swallowing • The food is swallowed . It travels down the food pipe to the stomach.

  4. Stomach • In the food is mixed with lots of digestive juices. This breaks the food down into the body.

  5. Small intestine • The tiny pieces of food pass into the small intestine .

  6. Large intestine • What bits are left after the large intestine are waste products. This leaves the body when we go to the toilet.

  7. Waste The waste products and water pass into the large intestine , here all the water needed is taken into the body.
