Potential Assessment Values: Achievable Levels, Potential, Loss Impact, and Retention. These assessment values are used in reports and analytics. Skills and Experience: Certifications, Professional Affiliations, Training Types, Work Experiences and Skills Categories.   8. Skills and Experience Skills and Experience Attributes Description Use Create or Edit Certifications to add or update the certifications your organization tracks. Use Maintain organizations who issue the certifications you track. Certifications and Certification Issuers Certification Issuers to define Workday delivers over 19,000 educational institutions, in over 180 countries. Use Create Schools and Maintain School Types to add to the existing values. Schools and School Types Degrees Use Maintain Degrees to define the degrees your organization tracks. Use Maintain Fields of Study to define the fields of study your organization tracks. Fields of Study Use Maintain Training Types to track the different methods by which employees can obtain knowledge. Training Types Use Maintain Work Experiences to define the types of work experience your organization would like to track. COMPETENCIES  Competencies are the skills, behaviors and attitudes that workers need to perform their roles effectively.  Competencies can then be assigned to job profiles, job families, management levels or individual positions.  Proficiency Scales are defined to measure those competencies. COMPETENCY FRAMEWORK  Workday’s Advanced Competency Management allows to configure competency models that include Competency Categories and Competency Classes.  Workday’s competency framework allows to associate competencies and their specific behaviors with a Job Family, Job Profile, Management Level or employee.  An employee’s proficiency in a competency can be measured during a Performance Review or a Talent Review. © 2020 ERP Cloud Training

  15. PROFICIENCY RATING SCALES Proficiency Rating Scales can be established to associate with your competencies.   17. POPULATING EMPLOYEE TALENT DATA We will need to populate the data with the most current information, and keep that data upto-date, in whichever attributes we are using.   24. GOAL COMPLETION STATUSES Goal Completion Statuses are the values used when entering the completion level of a personal goal. These statuses determine which items are eligible to be moved from one review to the next. © 2020 ERP Cloud Training

ORGANIZATION GOALS  Organization goals are created for supervisory organizations using the Manage Organization Goals task.  Organization goals must be assigned to a goal period, which can be created using the task Maintain Goal Periods.  Most organization goals are set during a defined period, and then communicated to the organization. © 2020 ERP Cloud Training

EMPLOYEE REVIEW RATINGS AND CALCULATIONS  An individual item entered in the Accomplishments, Goals, Questions, Competencies or Responsibilities sections of an employee review.  An entire section, which summarizes all the individual items entered in the Accomplishments, Competencies, Goals, Questions, or Responsibilities sections.  The entire employee review (Overall), which summarizes all the section ratings. © 2020 ERP Cloud Training

CALIBRATION  Talent Calibration is used to ensure performance and potential are assessed consistently across the organization.  It is used to review all workers ratings, and use the calibrated information to develop plans across the organization.  A Performance Review calibration is different from a Talent Review calibration in which we are calibrating only the worker’s performance rating. © 2020 ERP Cloud Training

  30. CALIBRATION NBOX REPORT  An nBox report represents a matrix display of the relationship between two employee factors. The “n” represents the number of boxes in the matrix.  nBox reports are created for reporting purposes which are called static nBox reports.  The nBox report determines: •the rating values to calibrate •worker display options •fields for the detail view •search facets to filter workers •drillable fields for additional information © 2020 ERP Cloud Training

Talent information around qualifications, experience, competencies, potential, etc. are captured either through self-population or through the talent review process. SUCCESSION POOLS  Succession Pools can be created to manage candidates for one or more job profiles.  Multiple job profiles can be associated with a Succession Pool which can be restricted to limit access to the pool.  Workers can be added directly to a Succession Pool from the View Succession Pool report. © 2020 ERP Cloud Training
