Process in VIT Pre-Production Concept Development Launch Post -Launch 1) Estimate person provides details to the TL/Dev who cross verifies the requirement and gives a formal approval to book the project. 2) Estimate person sends a confirmation to Accounts to book the project provides details to the BA’s. 3) Estimate person sends details like (Siteplan, Functional Doc, SOW, Design Requirements.) to the BA. 4) Accounts sends a POF to the IC and introductory email keeping the BA in C/C. After receiving payment the schedule email is been sent to BA’s and design head too. 5) BA cross checks with the IC for the requirement and then adds the project details in TSO. Also send a schedule to the IC for the 1st CD delivery after consulting the design lead and by keeping a buffer of 1 to 2 days. 6) Designer develops the Design and delivers the link to the BA. 7) BA QA’s the design and sends the first CD to the IC. Process in VIT: 8) Additional verification: Either in the Design phase or after the Sign Off the design will again be reviewed by the TL/Development team that the design approved consist the scope of work which was approved by the IC and does not have any additional modules. I would prefer that we take care of this step for every change in the design requirement as per my past experience. I can observe MAX benefits if we take this step which will avoid further arguments/delays later in the development phase. (Here the BAdvisor needs to get involved if there is any addition to the project scope) 9) Once the project moves to development the BA verifies with the TL and he gives a deadline as per the schedule and developer capability. BA keeps a buffer and send the schedule to the IC. 9 a) BA assigns to the QA for a test for the first DD and delivers the DD as per the schedule. Here the TL needs to ensure that we meet the deadline of the delivery date and do not miss it in any condition. QA process continues until the project moves for a launch. BA takes a approval from Accounts before the launch process takes place. Site is been send to the tech support once we receive a Development Sign off. 10) Once the site is launched QA performs a test before we send the live link to the IC. 11) We are responsible for any corrections/bugs which occur in the post launch phase for a period of 3 months.
