  1. Selecting The Right Single-tube Coils for HVAC Applications

  2. We bet you have heard that standard steam coils are more like hot water coils, except for its not hot water and low-pressure steam requires different handling. Also, there’s a major difference of tubes and return bends, in terms of construction, with tube wall thickness and brazing. A large variety of HVAC applications use the standard steam coils, such as duct heaters, process air and gas heaters, and more. Since low-pressure steam is more erosive than hot water, the coils need to be built accordingly. These coils are usable in higher temperatures and that is why 1 or 2 rows find prominence of applicability. When it reaches to the suggestions and advice regarding selection of standard steam coils, buyers can run through better options available at the suppliers’ side. While buyers search for retrofitting or modifying steam heat systems, there’s an emerging need for custom steam coils.

  3. One doesn’t fall for replacement until it’s too costly or expensive to bring a new one. As markets speak of a variety of options, whether for standard steam coils or heat exchanger coils or steam distributing coils, custom ones hold the key to provide ideal replacements without pinching the budgets. Some obsolete designs also demand recreation or duplication of these coils. Similarly, new applications require custom-designed coils to achieve the end goals. It’s important that these coils match the existing dimensions and performance levels for the coils in current applications. Buyers can request for quotes across different modules to check what’s suitable or not.
