Resource Logistics • Visit https://chescocf.org/explore/family-individual-philanthropy/the-plan/giving-circles-cardconnect/ • Join The PLAN Giving Circle as a dues-paying member @$100/person/Giving Circle CardConnect will sponsor 50% of each employee’s membership - $50/$50 • Participate in a Giving Circle for four 1.5 hr meetings over a couple/few months + brief on-line reading • Think about how much of your own money you are willing to donate to your Giving Circle Grant Pool at the Community Foundation $250 - $2,500, as each individual member desiresCardConnect will match 100% of each employee’s donation

September Lunch Meet Up – Plenary – Wed. 9/21/16 • AIMS: • In plenary, for each Giving Circle to share info on nonprofits selected, why, and opportunities for individual & CardConnect involvement • To recruit additional CardConnect personnel to participate in the next phase as volunteers & givers to the selected nonprofits • Animals • Arts/Culture • Environment • Youth • October – Giving Circle Meetings – Wed., 10/19/16 • In individual Giving Circles meetings, for each Giving Circle member to discuss their volunteering experience to date, questions/ideas + to solidify each Giving Circle’s $ gifting aims, in time for November holiday season • November Lunch Meet Up – Plenary – Wed., 11/30/16 • Invite all CardConnect Giving Circle nonprofit grantees to lunch reception in CardConnect lobby, to present CC matching gift checks, and meet/greet CC employees • Grantees can have materials at tables & do a 20 minute panel on nonprofit/for-profit partnerships, hopes & dreams, etc.
