This project introduces a mobile application developed for the Mesh Potato network, aiming to enhance communication in rural areas by allowing users to check their credit and make free calls. The USSD application is designed for easy installation on mobile phones, enabling users to enter personal information and authenticate themselves. Usability and functionality testing was conducted with eight participants from Delft, who provided positive feedback on the interface's appearance and user-friendliness. The application represents a significant step towards bridging the communication gap in underserved communities.

testing • 8 users were identified to test designed application • Usability testing • Functionality testing • Users signed consent form
Usability testing • Focused mainly on the general appearance and the user friendliness of the system. • Each participant was given the user guide. • Feed back from the user was then asked. • Users displayed a positive attitude to the general appearance and design of the interface.
Functionality testing • Each participant was given the user guide with step by step instructions to read through before they got to play with the system. • Functionality testing was conducted with 8 people from Delft. • It was done individually each person was asked to register on the system and interact with the system by playing around different options of the system.
