  2. What is Super Woman? 47,XXX syndrome is a genetic condition where females have an extra X chromosome in each of their cells. Normally female cells have two X chromosomes. This is not usually an inherited condition but a defect that occurs during cell division. Triple X results during division of a parent's reproductive cells and occurs about once in every 1,000 female births. Often the condition is asymptomatic.

  3. Symptoms Triple X syndrome most often causes no unusual physical features or medical problems. There are about 40 symptoms for Super Woman Syndrome in the rare case that it does affect the woman and some of the symptoms include: • Tall Stature • Learning Disability • Clumsiness/Poor coordination • Behavioral problems • Wide set eyes, small, head, long head, small lower jaw, prominent forehead • Reduced muscle tone • Widely spaced nipples • Ovarian failure/Infertility • Mental retardation • Joint hyper extensibility • Sleeping Disorders

  4. Treatment The chromosome change that causes triple X syndrome cannot be repaired, so the syndrome itself has no cure. If your daughter has triple X syndrome though, treatment is based on her symptoms, if any are present. For instance, if she has a learning disability from the triple X, she would require the same counselling as anyone else with that learning disability. Given the treatable nature of most symptoms and how frequently no symptoms appear at all, it's quite possible to lead a full and normal life despite having this syndrome.

  5. 47, XXX syndrome is not serious or life-threatening. 
