  2. Why VSOP-2 & CTA? M87 (VERITAS, VLBA 43GHz, HESS, MAGIC collaboration 2009) R~δct VSOP-2 人類史上最高の空間分解能 提案:  「VSOP-2&CTA 同時観測」を是非やりませんか? 日本主導の「ユニークな科学成果」が期待できる(後述)。

  3. Outline • Looking back the AGN-science history in • terms of “Radio” & “VHE” collaboration. • 2000 ~ VLA - Chandra Era ~ arcsec world • 2008 ~ VLBI - Fermi Era ~ mas world • 201? ~ VSOP-2- CTA ~ 0.1 mas world Angular Resolution ∝ λ(wavelength)/ D(baseline) D

  4. VLA & Chandra era: (2000~) Chandra (X-ray) VLA (Radio) Comparable angular Resolution ≲ 1 arcsec

  7. VLBI-Fermi Era: (2008~) VLBA (Radio) MOJAVE survey Long term monitor of blazar motions by VLBA 15 GHz. MOJAVE (Monitoring Of Jets in AGN with VLBA Experiments) http://www.physics.purdue.edu/~mlister/MOJAVE/index.html 空間分解した多数イメージに よって初めて分かる

  8. AGN sky: MOJAVE/Fermi view MOJAVE/Fermi blazar studies (Lister+, Kovalev+, …). MOJAVE/Fermi/CTA will lead to statistical studies of blazars. CTA together with VSOP-2 KSPs?

  14. VSOP-2/CTA will see… VERA 22 GHz Resolution of VSOP-2 (22 GHz) reaches ~0.1 pc! VSOP-2/CTA will offer a key to solving the origin of γ-ray. Nagai+ 1 pc CTA may detect TeV γ. Variability is a key. Abdo+09

  17. VSOP-2/CTA will see… Walker (NRAO) VSOP-2 (43 GHz) will see this ~ 0.0032pc eye! 0.08pc VSOP-2/CTA will show us a hint for the central- engine mechanism. CTA easily detect TeV γ. Variability is a key. Wagner+10

  18. Summary • VLBIは、1ミリ秒角以下の空間分解能を持つ唯 • 一無二の装置です。是非CTA & VSOP-2 KSPs • をやりましょう! • 3C 84 γ線放射の起源に迫る! • M 87   中心エンジン機構に迫る!
