THE PHILIPPINE NATIONAL RED CROSS Disaster Management Services is a chartered service of the PNRC primarily task to carry out relief and developmental programs for the most vulnerable population affected by emergency and disaster through its well trained, skilled and committed staff and throngs of volunteers across the archipelago.

THE PHILIPPINE NATIONAL RED CROSS National Blood Services • recruitment of volunteer blood donors promotion of the importance of blood giving • PNRC is one of the biggest suppliers of blood - life giving fluid • supply 15% to 20% of the country’s total blood requirements yearly • serves an average of 55,000 hospital patients, mostly indigents • ensures safe and healthy blood, given free of charge

THE PHILIPPINE NATIONAL RED CROSS Luzon Mindanao Disaster Management Services • Providing relief assistance in times of disasters • Served almost 20,000 families out of the 33,000 affected by on and off armed conflict in Southern Philippines (Mindanao) • Served 19,102 families out of the 165,597 affected by two typhoons that recently hit Central Luzon and Bicol Region including Metro Manila
