  1. Need to Know the Current Heat Index and Category? KACC is pleased to announce the Automated WBGT system is again available to Commanders and Soldiers via the HEAT INDEX HOTLINE. Heat Index Hotline: (301) 677-8881 This hotline is updated hourly Monday – Friday, from 0800 – 1600. For the latest heat index information for your location during off-duty hours, log on to www.weatherbug.com and click “Health & Outdoors”. If you need heat injury prevention classes, field sanitation team training, or other preventive medicine-related classes please call the Environmental Health Section at (301) 677-8901/8106.
