Heat Index Hotline: (301) 677-8881 This hotline is updated hourly Monday – Friday, from 0800 – 1600. For the latest heat index information for your location during off-duty hours, log on to www.weatherbug.com and click “Health & Outdoors”. If you need heat injury prevention classes, field sanitation team training, or other preventive medicine-related classes please call the Environmental Health Section at (301) 677-8901/8106.
