  6. Test Tube • Test tubes have many functions - including mixing liquids to observe reactions.

  7. Test Tube Clamp • Used to hold and transfer test tubes

  8. Funnel • Function – Used to transfer liquid from one receptacle to another.

  9. Tweezers/Forceps • Function - To hold and move items you should not touch.

  10. Spring Scale • Function – Used to measure weight by gravity in newton (N) or grams (g).

  11. Test TubeRack/Holder • Function – Holds test tubes

  12. Eyedropper/Pipette • Function – Used to accurately measure very small amounts of liquid (mL).

  13. Metric Ruler • Function - To measure the length/distance of small objects in centimeters or millimeters.

  14. Compound Light Microscope • Function - To magnify very small objects, and observe objects you cannot see with the naked eye.

  15. Petri Dish • Function - Provides a surface for you to experiment on various material such as culturing bacteria.

  16. Safety Goggles • Function - Keeps your eyes safe from dangerous liquids that may cause permanent eye damage.

  17. Triple-Beam Balance • Function - To measure the mass of an object in grams.
