SNF Scholarships FAQs

The School Nutrition Association (SNA) offers scholarships ranging from $500 to $2,500 to support individuals in pursuing degrees at vocational/technical, undergraduate, graduate, or post-graduate levels. In addition, SNA provides equipment grants to help school districts acquire new kitchen equipment and training. Applications are submitted online via SmarterSelect.   3. Earn Your Degree! • Receive scholarships to pursue a degree at a vocational/technical, undergraduate, graduate or post graduate level • Scholarships of $500-$2,500 available • Use the Common Application

  4. Attend SNA Conferences Josephine Martin National Policy Fellow • Attend Legislative Action Conference! • Must be a LAC First-Timer • Must be an employee/manager

  5. Attend SNA Conferences ANC First Timer Scholarship • Attend SNA’s Annual National Conference in Salt Lake City! • Must be an ANC First Timer • Must be an employee/manager • Get $500 reimbursement

  6. Attend SNA Conferences Kathleen Stitt Award • Attend SNA’s Child Nutrition Showcase at SNA’s Annual National Conference in Salt Lake City! • Get $500 reimbursement

  7. Get Equipment for Your Kitchen • Equipment Grants give school districts in need brand new equipment and training

  8. What scholarships are available? • Scholarships change year-to-year based on funding availability. • Next scholarships will open in late 2014/ early 2015

  9. How to apply? • You must apply online by creating an account on www.SmarterSelect.com (formerly www.ScholarSelect.com) and completing and submitting the online application by the deadline.
