  11. Communication- Blackboard Blackboard is the primary method by which I will distribute information to students. I will use this to post Lecture Slides, additional reading, practice questions etc. It’s therefore important that you check Blackboard regularly!! As Blackboard is quite new, you are strongly encouraged to spend some time familiarising yourself with it as soon as possible. Excuses such as ‘my internet has been down’ or ‘my laptop is broken’ are not acceptable.

  12. Communication- Email From time to time its likely that I will need to send all students an email, or students may need to email me for some reason The University rules in this regard are that the only email address recognised is your official ‘student email’ If you choose to use another email, please understand that I can’t be held responsible for ‘non receipt’ or any other problems REMEMBER to use your student email, write your ID number, name, group number, class.

  14. A note about my lectures and the text books • Lecture slides will normally be posted on BlackboardBEFORE the next seminar. • The slides do NOT cover everything in the text book. • To gain exposure to everything for the exam purpose you need to attend lectures AND carefully read the text book chapters. • Just attending seminars OR just reading the slides will NOT BE ENOUGH....!! YOU NEED TO DO BOTH.

  15. A note about my lectures and the text books • DON’T FORGET THAT THE TEXT BOOK IS THE MAIN SOURCE FOR STUDYING AND PREPARING FOR EXAMS AND QUIZES.
