  11. School ERP - Fedena User name and Passwords will be issued for all the new students. The existing students can use the same user name and password. The new pattern of assessment is being updated. Hence this will be fully functional from August 2017.

School Rules • Please make sure that you drop and pick your child ON TIME. • Half day leave or permissions are not permitted other than in case of emergencies. • If the absence is for 2 days or lesser, please enter it in the leave record of School diary. If the absence is for more than 2 days, submit a leave letter addressed to the Principal in school office. In case of absence due to health issues, medical certificate is mandatory. • Parent Teacher Meetings are scheduled after every assessment. It is mandatory to attend the PTMs. Incase if your child needs attention or help, the concerned teachers will call you for a meeting and update you.

  18. School Rules 5. Distribution of gifts on child’s birthday is strictly not allowed. The child can come in colour dress and distribute only chocolates. 6. It is mandatory to label all the bags and accessories of the child. 7. If you are not sending the lunch box along with the child, labelled lunch bag to be dropped at the Centenary gate. You are hereby instructed not to meet the child inside the campus during break hours. 8. Make sure that the child is toilet trained. Also send an additional pair of clothing for the first few weeks for Class I students 9. It is mandatory for the child to wear Identity cards. The same will be issued after the school reopens.

  19. School Rules 10. Parent ID cards will also be issued. Whenever you/your representative is coming to pick the child, please carry the parent ID card. 11. School diary will also be issued in the first week of June. Check and sign the diary regularly. Also make sure that the diary is sent everyday with the child. 12. Please update any change in the address or contact number to the school office 13. Pre-midterm and Post-midterm assessments will be conducted during the school hours. Midterm and Final assessments are conducted at a specified schedule which will be intimated after which you have to pick the child.

  20. School Rules 14. Fee Paid Receipts: It will be issued after the commencement of the academic year. As all the transactions are done through bank, it will be issued only on request. Please submit the request to the office in writing in order to receive the receipt. 15. For any of your document requests like Receipts, Study certificates, Transfer Certificate etc., you must give us Three working days time. No last minute requests will be entertained. 16.If the child is not keeping good health either during tests or normal working days, please do not send the child to the school. 17. Retest will NOT be administered for any test/exam that the child may have missed

  21. Counselor's note Beginning of formal education • Formal education means more than academics • A period to discover your child’s potential • Anxiety in children and parents is common during these years • Nutrition plays an important role; physical activity is equally important

  22. Suggestions for parents to care better • Understand your precious ones’ strengths and weakness; accept and appreciate. DO NOT COMPARE OR PRESSURISE • Help your child to verbalize or express their thoughts and please LISTEN to them • Pay attention to their nutrition • Give equal importance to education and play • Co-operate with teachers to help your child’s progress at school . • Right time to start instilling values and principles • Reduce screen time; encourage reading

Concerns that require counselor's attention • Who is a school counselor ? • Concerns that call for school counselor’s attention: • Anxiety regarding school, school refusal , sudden change in behavior such as increase in crying spells, clinginess, separation anxiety. • Disturbed sleep and eating patterns • Difficulty in catching up with academic skills; • mirror imaging, reversals, unable to recognize letters and their sounds , difficulty in comprehending, spelling words, writing, performing age/class appropriate math operations, remembering number sequences, Poor hand eye co-ordination etc.

CONTINUED…… • Trouble in sustained concentration, hyperactivity, impulsivity • Conduct problems such as lying, bullying, stealing, aggression • Poor self-confidence • Speech delay or difficulty in articulating • Any other concerns which you know has to be addressed but do not know how to. • PLEASE REMEMBER EARLY INTERVENTION RESULTS IN HIGHER CHANCES OF IMPROVEMENT

  25. Grievances / Complaints • Parent Feedback Forms: These are collected at the end of every term. The actions taken to these feedback are displayed on the notice boards after the analysis as per ISO norms. You are free to provide your feedback, suggestions or complaints through these forms with the grievance cell headed by the Administrator. • If you have any complaints or suggestions, you may contact the Co-Ordinators / Administrator / Academic Director / The Principal. You can meet them with prior intimation and discuss the issues.
