KAZAN HELICOPTERS PJSC Was founded in 1940 when Leningradskiy aviation plant #387 was evacuated from Leningrad to Kazan during the Second World War and united with Kazan component production plant. Produced military aircrafts during the War and even harvesters in the post-war period. Production of first helicopters Mi-1 and Mi-4 started in 1951.
