  2. Cells • Woodpeckers have many kinds of cells such as animal cells, blood cells, bone cells, muscle cells and many more.

  3. Reproduction • Woodpeckers reproduce around 2-5 eggs. They sit on the eggs for about 11-14 days to keep the eggs warm.

  4. Inherited Traits • Woodpeckers inherit traits from their parents just like us. They get the traits such as, wings, beaks, feathers, peck through trees.

  5. Grow and Development • They have their own way of behaving. They will do anything to protect their territory. They will even chase bigger birds like hawks.

  6. Environment • Woodpeckers live in any type of trees. They live in holes. They peck the holes with their beaks.

  7. Environment in their cells and Bodies Woodpeckers are warm blooded. Just like us humans.
