  2. I. Introduction A. CIG is in the form of a nation where ideal of creation is realized 1. CIG begins the moment an ideal human being appears 2. CIG Foundation Day is when CIG begins substantially 3. CIG (天一國) is in the form of a nation(國) where two(二) people(人) become one(一) 4. CIG begins in the central place of cosmos where God and human being become completely one, then expands to family, society, nation, world, and cosmos.

CIG and the 4th Israel Nation • “CIG is an internal nation, a nation of indemnity for religious organizations, and the 4th Israel nation is in the external position, a nation for the completion of realm of nation.” (464:84,2003.8.20.) • 2. CIG: internal nation, heaven in a religious concept • 3. 4th Israel nation: external nation, heaven in a political concept • 4. CIG is in a new formthat was non-existent on earth until now

  5. B. Internal CIG and External CIG 1. Form of unified nation of cosmic peace(2001.10.29.) a. cosmos: physical world + spiritual world (1999.12.19.) b. Peace is a state where spiritual and physical worlds are horizontal in harmony and balance c. Unification is a state where spiritual and physical worlds coexist through give and receive action d. Nation(國) refers to a nation whose spiritual and physical worlds are connected as one.

  6. 2. Internal CIG a. God is the perfector of internal CIG from before the Creation b. Harmonious union of the dual characteristics of internal / external forms and male / female c. The originator of internal CIG and exists as the core of CIG in heaven d. Exists only as the subject partner having the qualities of internal nature and masculinityto the creation e. Had to create all things as His object partner with the qualities of external form and femininity

  7. 3. DesireofGod who has completed internal CIG a. God cannot feel because He is one with Himself. (279:112-113, 1996.8.1.) b. God cannot love because He is one with Himself. c. God cannot multiply because He is one with Himself. d. God cannot directly govern the creation because He is incorporeal. e. God had to create substantial bodies separated into man and woman.

Completion of external CIG was the purpose of creation for Adam Eve • b. 3 levels of completion of external CIG: creation, individual perfection, perfection of husband and wife • c. Adam and Eve perfected as husband and wife: ideal human beings • d. Ideal human being: substantial body of completion of external CIG and originator • e. A substantial body perfected as God’s object partner with the qualities of external form and femininity • f. Established position as God’s absolute object

  9. 5. Adam and Eve are the perfected substantial bodies of external CIG • a. Adam and Eve can feel because two became united as one. • b. Adam and Eve can experience the love of two becoming one. • c. Adam and Eve can become one and multiply direct children. • d. Adam and Eve can directly govern the creation. • e. Adam and Eve are the only ones that can satisfy God’s desire

  10. C. Substantial CIG • 1. May You Complete the Ideal of Internal and External CIG! • “You probably do not understand the meaning of ‘internal and external’ in this motto. It refers to internal heaven and external heaven. CIG(天一國) is a nation(國) where two(二) people(人) become one(一). It means for the mind and body, man and woman, parent and child, and heaven and earth to become one with God. ‘Internal’ means God, and ‘external’ means True Parents.(481:23-24, 2005.1.1.)

  11. 2. Realizing the internal and external CIG ideal a. Internal CIG is heaven fulfilled by God in the SW • b. External CIG is heaven fulfilled by Adam and Eve in the PW • c. Internal and external CIG should be united as one. • d. God’s ideal of creation is to realize the internal and external CIG ideal • e. Internal and external CIG = internal CIG + external CIG • d. Internal and external CIG is called substantial CIG. (Substantial Words, 6)

  12. 3. Establishment of Substantial CIG • a. A nation that is established when God and the progenitor of human race become one • b. A nation that is established when God and True Parents become one • c. God must be included in the meaning of the word substantial. • d. God is within True Parents, and True Parents are within God • e. When substantial CIG is established, God will manifest Himself in the SW and PW in the form of True Parents.

Creation, Completion, and Expansion of Substantial CIG • Substantial CIG expands from one being to the whole • Substantial CIG starts from the central place of cosmos • Central place of cosmos: where God and TPare completely one • 3. Central place of cosmos is like a dot. • 4. A process to expand ‘from one being to the whole’ is necessary. • 5. Substantial CIG is expanded to the world and cosmos by multiplying. • 6. In order to multiply, good give and receive action centering on true love is needed.

  14. B.Creation and Completion of Substantial CIG • 1. Creation vs. Completion • a. Reconstruction starts with existing materials but creation starts with no materials. • b. Creation means the beginning, and completion means to finish. • c. Creation as groundbreaking ceremony and completion as dedication ceremony • d. Family Pledge Number 1 is creation, and Numbers 2 to 8 refer to completion. • e. Substantial CIG also goes through the process of creation and completion.

  15. 2. Process of creation and completion of substantial CIG • a. Proclamation of internal CIG: 2001.10.29. • b. Proclamation of external CIG: 2003.2.6. • c. Creation of internal and external CIG: 2006.6.13. • d. Completion of internal and external CIG: HC 2013.1.13. • e. CIG Foundation Day: Proclamation of first year of substantial CIG (2013.1.13.) • f. CIG citizens should walk the path of creating and completing CIG.

  16. 3. Creation of substantial CIG(2006.6.13.) • “Beloved citizens of CIG, today you are receiving amazing grace. You are participating in the coronation ceremony of the substantial King of Peace in Heaven and Earth, and you are being registered as citizens of CIG. … Today you are witnessing the miracle of miracles: the establishment of CIG, the substantial sovereignty in the era after the coming of heaven.”(Pyeonghwa Shingyeong, 86)

  17. C. Completion and Expansion of Substantial CIG • 1. Substantial CIG is eternal once it is established. • a. Central place of the cosmos is eternal once it appears. • b. Substantial CIG also exists absolutely, uniquely, unchangingly, and eternally. • c. God and True Parents cannot be separated anymore. (Pyeonghwa Shingyeong, 311-312) • d. Substantial CIG will expand to family, tribe, people, nation, world, and cosmos. • e. Substantial CIG is not just a concept but can be fulfilled in reality.

  18. 2. Expansion of substantial CIG • a. When an ideal human being appears, direct children and ideal family will form. • b. Ideal heaven will become a reality through expansion of the ideal family. • c. Children born in the central place of cosmos are citizens of substantial CIG • d. Children of substantial CIG are raised under the protective realm of substantial CIG. • e. They will receive substantial CIG education.

  19. 3. State organization of substantial CIG(579:263, 2007.11.1.) • a. Chief of eup, myeon, and dong becomes head of the family for each township • b. Mayor of a city or county becomes head of the family for that city or county • c. Governor of a region becomes head of the family for that region • d. Congressmen become head of the family for that country • e. TP arethe owner and head of the family that represent the nation

  20. IV.Substantial CIG is a nation where SW and PW are connected as one A. Substantial CIG is the unified nation of heaven and earth 1. SW and PW are connected as one at the central place of cosmos 2. SW and PW are connected as one world without any boundaries 3. SW and PW are not two different nations but connected as one nation 4. We will be able to travel freely between SW and PW. 5. A world where our spiritual senses and physical senses are united

  21. B. Citizens of Substantial CIG and Divine Mind 1. Is able to perceive the SW through divine mind 2. Is born and educated in the central place of cosmos 3. Is raised in the central place of cosmos 4. Is perfected in the central place of cosmos 5. Naturally experiences SW while living in the PW 6. Is in an age where anyone can perceive SW with little effort

Substantial CIG is the era of Association of Connection Between Heaven and Earth(2009.10.8.) “When the age of substantial CIG unfolds, the association of connection between heaven and earthwill stand at the central axis of this earth and govern all things.It means that it will fulfill substantial unification by connecting the spiritual and physical worlds and administer the Providence through the way of Heaven.”(Substantial Words, 41)

  23. D. Being in Harmony Between Spirituality and Physicality (170:267, 1987.11.27.) “There is only one truth and it is the principle that dominates over nature and human world. In the natural world, this principle is the origin of all things in the universe. To humans, this principle is the absolute value of true love that guides them to perfect their character through harmony between spirituality and physicalityand realize truth, goodness, and beauty.”

  24. E. You have to Understand the SW clearly. (2003.10.15.) “You should understand God and the spiritual world clearly and become a true person who practices for eternity the traditional thought of Heaven, ‘true love of living for the sake of others.’ Then, you can finally call God ‘Father.’ Blood lineage will be connected between father and child only when you reach that position. And it is through this tradition from Heaven that this logic and tradition of eternal life will form an inseparable relationship and settle with you.”

  25. V. Substantial CIG is a Nation where God and Human Beings Live Together A. Central position of Cosmos and Central Being of Cosmos 1. Central being of cosmos manifests in the central place of cosmos. 2. God and human beings become completely one to form the central being of cosmos 3. TP ofHEH are the central being of cosmos(Era after the Coming of Heaven and TP ofHEH, 223) 4. God is cosmic parent, perfected Adam and Eve are parents of heaven and earth 5. Cosmic Parent and parents of heaven and earth become completely one to become TPof HEH 6. God and human beings become completely one to become parents of HEH.

  26. B. TPof HEH are the Hope of God and Humankind 1. TP ofHEH includes God and human beings. 2. God and human beings become one through love and become parents 3. God becomes TP ofHEH through perfected human beings. 4. Human being become parents of HEH through God. 5. Once TP ofHEH manifests, they cannot be separated. (Pyeonghwa Shingyeong, 312)

  27. C. God and human beings become completely one to become parents of HEH • God becomes a personified God • 2. God can have form and become a visible God • 3. God can eternally feel stimulating joy • 4. God can multiply direct children infinitely • 5. God can directly govern the creation • 6. God realizes the ideal of creation

  28. D. Human beings become the body of God within parents of HEH 1. Human beings become the external form of God 2. Human beings experience God’s love 3. Human beings conceive life of God 4. Human beings multiply God’s blood lineage 5. Human beings inherit God’s conscience 6. Human beings can do what God desires 7. God can work through substantial bodies of human beings

  29. F. TP of HEH and Parents of HEH 1. TP ofHEH: the first parents to become completely one with God 2. Parents of HEH: children of TP ofHEH 3. Blessed families: called parents of HEH without the word ‘true’ 4. Parents of HEH and Association for Oneness of God and Humankind in True Love (2009.10.9.) 5. Parents of HEH and ideal oneness of God and humankind in love in Family Pledge number 8

  30. G. Children of Parents of HEH born in the Central Position of Cosmos 1. Are born again as children of TP ofHEH 2. Experiences parents on earth through physical bodies 3. Experiences parents in heaven through spiritual bodies 4. Is able to form harmony between spirituality and physicalityas they grow 5. Can live thinking about Adam and Eve of original creation

  31. H. How to live as Adam and Eve of original creation 1. Studythe life course of True Parents 2. Share the life course of TPin heart 3. Try to follow and live the life course of TP 4. It is because TP can be understood as the ones who became TP of HEH as representatives of heaven and earth. (Major Ceremonies and Proclamations IV, 358)
