2. What is the Praxis Test? A PRAXIS TEST is one of the American teaching certification exams written and administered by the Educational Testing Service. Various PRAXIS TESTS are usually required before, during, and after teacher training courses in the U.S.

3. What is the Learning Express Library? Provided by the Alabama Public Library Service, Learning Express Library offers unlimited, 24/7 access to targeted skill-building interactive courses and practice tests for most undergraduate and graduate exams as well as professional exams.

4. How to Find the Learning Express Library First, go to the University of Alabama Libraries’ website. You will either have to be on campus, or logged into your MyBama account. www.lib.ua.edu/

5. On the left side of the screen, there is a list. Click on “DATABASES”.

6. There are different ways to find a specific database. For this, use the “BROWSE ALPHABETICAL LIST” area which is on the right side of the screen. Click on the letter “L.”

7. Scroll down until you see the “LearningExpress Library.” It will be close to the top. First-time users click on “Here.” If you already have an account, click on “Click Here” to go directly to the “Returning User” login on the Home page.

8. Creating an Account If you already have an account, feel free to login through the “Returning User Login” option, and then skip ahead to the “Finding the Practice Tests” section.

9. Unfortunately, this link does not lead directly to the “Learning Express Library.” It takes you to the “Resources and Research Links” of the Alabama Public Library Service website first.

10. Scroll down just a little, until you can see the “Learning Express Library” link on the left side of the screen. Clicking on the link will take you to the Learning Express Library website.

11. Welcome to the website. However, in order to access their guides and practice tests, the user must create an account. Using your MyBama username and password is not required.

12. On the “Home” page, scroll down to the very bottom where there will be two options. If you do not have an account, click on the “Register” button under “New Users.”

13. Enter a username and password of your choice. It’s helpful to also enter an email address, but it’s not necessary. Click the “Register” button to create the account.

14. Finding the Praxis Practice Tests Remember that without an account, you cannot access any of the materials on their website.

15. Once you are logged in, click on the tab that says “Jobs & Careers.” It will either be at the top of the page or on the left.

16. Scroll down to the bottom of the list and click on “Teaching.”

17. Another list will appear (when the page refreshes, you will have to scroll back down to “Teaching”). You can either choose the Praxis I Preparation or the Praxis II Preparation.

18. Whichever option you click on, another list will appear (you will have to scroll down again). This will show you the list of guides and practice tests they have available for each TEST.

19. In order to use one of the guides or practice tests, click on “Add to My Center,” next to your choice on the right side of the screen.

20. Now you can access your choice! You can either save it for later, or check it out now by clicking on the button on the right side of the screen.
