If you must go out, wear decent shoes. Broken ankles are not cute.
Invest in a houseplant. As long as you remember to water it, it should help you breathe easier inside.
Cold, dry weather--both indoors or outdoors--can leave skin chapped and itchy, so keeping skin well-moisturized is especially important.
Alcohol does nothing to warm us up and is a quick way to get hypothermia in a cold environment.
