  3. REGISTRATION EPFASTPITCH.COM January 25rd through February 23rd Uniforms Sizing will be done at tryouts Ordering uniforms will be online Sliding shorts available at tryouts Sliding pads, helmets, and masks also available online FREE gear bags for 8U – 12U teams!!

PROGRAM UPDATES Paid Coaches Coaching Clinics – Concussion Training Assistant Coaches - Parents Team Managers – Parents Athletic Policy Concussion Awareness - Consent Playing Time Guidelines Participation fees Team registration fees based on Age/Level of Play Additional $25 non-refundable try-out fee 8U & 10U Teams Focus on development of skills – pitching and catching

FUNDRAISING & VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS Fundraising program in 2012 Dine & Discount Majority of funds go towards player development Concession Stand Weeknight commitment 2 Weekend Tournament Commitment Opt out for $150 due at registration If no opt out fee at registration, $200 check due at first team parent meeting to be held until all concession stand commitments have been met. First miss, $200 check will be cashed and remainder of commitment is terminated.

  6. WINTER CLINICS Minnesota Fastpitch Academy Six sessions Jan. 8, 15, 22, 29, Feb. 5, 12 FREE Skills Clinics on Tuesday nights Jan: 31 Feb: 14, 21 March: 6, 13, 20, 27 FREE Pitching & Catching on Sunday nights Jan: 29 Feb: 12, 19, 26 March:  4, 18, 25

  7. 2012 SEASON Tryouts Two day tryout Feb. 25 & 26 Make up date will be Feb. 19 at 12 - 2 pm in the EPHS Dome upon written request and approval by travel commissioner Pitchers & Catchers separate Julie Standering/MFA evaluating tryouts Team formation to be completed after scores have been tabulated

Tournaments Teams will play in two to four invitational tournaments, 8U may play in only one State qualifier and State tournaments in early to mid July 10U & 12U State Qualifier is June 29 - July 1, State is July 13 - 15 14U State Qualifier is July 13 - 15, State is July 20 - 22

Tournaments National tournaments – EP Fastpitch expects our teams to go to the best tournament possible EP Fastpitch reimbursements $0 for metro area tournaments $100 per player for in-state tournaments over 65 miles from Eden Prairie $300 per player for out of state tournaments – Team pays coach expenses

  10. TRAVEL PLAYER COMMITMENT For your teammates… Attend all practices and games Attend all tournaments, especially state and national tournaments Tell us your conflicts when registering Most tournaments are not yet posted so we cannot tell you when a team is playing in a tournament
