  2. MIP/ISO brl Logicfwd Sort Logicbrl MIP/ISO fwd ROP Global Muon Trigger Logic Board Status: Testing, some bit errors to be corrected. Input board (4x4 m) Logic Board

  3. SYNC Chip PSB9U Pipelined Synchronizing Buffer NEW: Boards have been received. The first one is already assembled! Testing will start soon. • PSB9U receive and synchronize • MIP/QUIET bits • GCT data • TOTEM trigger signals • Technical trigger signals

  4. GTFE Readout Board NEW:Board has just arrived. Assembly will start soon.

  5. Status of other boards • TIM6U (with TTCrq) • Layout is in progress • GTL9U • Layout is about to start • Schematics practically finished • FDL9U, TCS9U • Tested; some changes in logic to be done • CONV6U • 6 boards out of 10 are soldered • Front panels are being produced • L1A • Some connectors to be soldered • Front panels are being produced

  6. Status of GTL and TCS software • Global Trigger Logic • GUIs are finished for final GTL9U and prototype GTL6U • Documentation will soon be ready for release • TCS • Basic GUI exists • GUI development is • ongoing

  7. Trigger Supervisor • Proposal sent out as draft • http://ildefons.home.cern.ch/ildefons/TriggerSupervisor.pdf • Skeleton for subsystem leafs will be given • Customizing must be performed by subsystems • Documentation and assistance and will be provided • Subsystems were invited to comment (31 Jan. 2005) • Endorsement foreseen in Trigger Software Meeting (15/03/2005 16:00) • You are invited to attend this meeting!

  10. Layout of 904 Electronics Integration Centre

  11. Schedule for Global Trigger Integration in 904 March 2005 Install 9U and 6U crates with SBS-620 controllers Install TCS, L1A in 9U crate Install CONV6U, TTCvi / TTCex April 2005 Install PSB9U Begin test with Global Calorimeter Trigger May 2005 Install GTL6U, FDL Global Muon Trigger exists, but prefer not to fix date for transfer to 904 yet. CSC integration tests have already been successfully performed in Vienna. Final GTL9U and GTFE will be installed during the summer.

  12. Resynchronization Question: What you do in response to a TTC RESYNC command and what (if anything) do you require from subsystems you connect to during procedures initiated by a RESYNC? Answer:Keep sending BC0 signals in case of new orbit. Subsystems should be able to receive them. Sending of BGo commands can be programmed in a table, as a function of BX number.

  13. Summary PSB9U boards received, the first one is assembled. GTFE board received. Working on GTL9U and TIM6U (TTCrq) boards. All Global Trigger boards should be produced by Aug. 2005. Preparations for integration in building 904 are going on as planned. Software development efforts are reinforced. GUIs for trigger setup and operation exist. The Trigger Supervisor is designed and development has started. Participation in the cosmic challenge during the magnet test is foreseen.
