  5. ELAH (Allah) Arabic God who declares or swears, who makes a covenant, who has absolute authority, power and right to do so.

  6. EL Singular God: mighty, strong, prominent, fair, and honorable, Almighty Deuteronomy 10 17For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God (EL), a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward (bribes):

  7. Genesis 1 1In the beginning God (ELOHIM – plurality of 3) created the heaven and the earth. FATHER SON (WORD) SPIRIT

  8. Genesis 1 2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved (hb. – brooded like a mother hen on her eggs) upon the face of the waters.

  9. Genesis 1 1In the beginning God (ELOHIM) created the heaven and the earth. 2And the earth was (hb. – BECAME) without form(hb. – tohu: confusion, waste, wilderness), and void(hb.- bohu: undistinguished ruin); and darkness (misery, death, destruction, sorrow, wickedness) was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

  10. Isaiah 45 18For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God (ELOHIM) himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established (ordered, perfected, provided prosperity) it, he created it not in vain(hb. – tohu: confusion, waste, wilderness), he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

  11. Jeremiah 4 23I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form (tohu), and void (bohu); and the heavens, and they had no light. 24I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly (sharply). 25I beheld, and, lo, there was no man (humans), and all the birds of the heavens were fled.

  12. Jeremiah 4 26I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger. 27For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.

  13. Jeremiah 4 28For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black; because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent (hb.- be sorry), neither will I turn back from it.

  14. Job 38 AMP 1THEN THE Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind and said, 2Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge? 3Gird up now your loins like a man, and I will demand of you, and you declare to Me.

  15. Job 38 4Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Declare to Me, if you have and know understanding. 5Who determined the measures of the earth, if you know? Or who stretched the measuring line upon it?

  16. Job 38 6Upon what were the foundations of it fastened, or who laid its cornerstone, 7When the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy? 8Or who shut up the sea with doors when it broke forth and issued out of the womb?-- 9When I made the clouds the garment of it, and thick darkness a swaddling band for it,

  17. Job 38 10And marked for it My appointed boundary and set bars and doors, 11And said, Thus far shall you come and no farther; and here shall your proud waves be stayed?

  18. Job 38 12Have you commanded the morning since your days began and caused the day spring (son of the morning in Isaiah 14:12) to know his place, 13So that [light] may get hold of the corners of the earth and shake the wickedness out of it?

  19. Job 38 14It is changed like clay into which a seal is pressed; and things stand out like a many-colored garment. 15From the wicked their light is withheld, and their uplifted arm is broken.

  20. Ezekiel 28 12Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. 13Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

  21. Ezekiel 28 14Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

  22. Ezekiel 28 16By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. 17Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

  23. Ezekiel 28 18Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. 19All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

  24. Luke 10 17And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. 18And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. 19Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

  25. Luke 10 20Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. 21In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

  26. Luke 10 22All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.

  27. Isaiah 14 12How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

  28. Isaiah 14 15Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. 16They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; 17That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?

  29. Job 38 AMP 14It is changed like clay into which a seal is pressed; and things stand out like a many-colored garment. 15From the wicked their light is withheld, and their uplifted arm is broken.

  30. Job 38 16Have you explored the springs of the sea? Or have you walked in the recesses of the deep? 17Have the gates of death been revealed to you? Or have you seen the doors of deep darkness?

  31. Job 38 18Have you comprehended the breadth of the earth? Tell Me, if you know it all. 19Where is the way where light dwells? And as for darkness, where is its abode, 20That you may conduct it to its home, and may know the paths to its house? 21You must know, since you were born then! Or because you are so extremely old!

  32. Job 38 22Have you entered the treasuries of the snow, or have you seen the treasuries of the hail, 23Which I have reserved for the time of trouble, for the day of battle and war? 24By what way is the light distributed, or the east wind spread over the earth? 25Who has prepared a channel for the torrents of rain, or a path for the thunderbolt,

  33. Job 38 26To cause it to rain on the uninhabited land [and] on the desert where no man lives, 27To satisfy the waste and desolate ground and to cause the tender grass to spring forth? 28Has the rain a father? Or who has begotten the drops of dew? 29Out of whose womb came the ice? And the hoary frost of heaven, who has given it birth?

  34. Job 38 30The waters are congealed like stone, and the face of the deep is frozen. 31Can you bind the chains of [the cluster of stars called] Pleiades, or loose the cords of [the constellation] Orion?

  35. Job 38 32Can you lead forth the signs of the zodiac in their season? Or can you guide [the stars of] the Bear with her young? 33Do you know the ordinances of the heavens? Can you establish their rule upon the earth?

  37. I Corinthians 14 33For God (ELOHIM) is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

  38. James 3 16For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
